It's just another basic horse girl movie. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was a story about a horse who could not be tamed, a movie that highlighted the negative impact that colonization had on the natives. This movie has none of the original themes, except for the buckskin stallion named Spirit.
I don't care that the creators have said that it's a descendant of Spirit. Show the new generation the original and teach them about the cultural genocide this country committed.
